Library 2.0
Library 2.0 changes the way we use the library, from reading books, searching for books, checking them out, and re-checking them out.
If you want to know if a book is at the library, you don't have to go search for it, ask a librarian, or even go to the library at all. You simply need to
go to the library's website and search for it by title, author, keywords, ISBN.. etc.
If you have a book checked out and it is due back, and you aren't finished with it yet, most libraries will allow you to update it with the click of your mouse.
Most books, including text books, are available electronically to enjoy on the computer, or digital book reader like the Kindle or iphone.
Library 2.0 also goes far beyond just novels. It makes research easier; easier to find journals, books, magazines, videos, and much more.
Interlibrary Loans allow users of one library to borrow books/resources from another library. It can be the actual book, photocopy, or even a scan.
